We welcome being asked to comment on issues that affect the people we serve. We're a front-line agency, dealing face-to-face with hunger and poverty. Public education is important if there's ever to be change.

When you call, identify yourself as a journalist, who you're with, your story and deadline. If it's during business hours, we can usually get back to you within half an hour. Then we can set up an interview or help you with leads.

Besides speaking to our own experience, we can often point you to other sources. The people we serve may be willing to talk to you.
